A few weekends ago we decided to make a spontaneous Disney trip to Flower & Garden! If you’re unsure what the Flower and Garden festival is, here’s a quick summary. The festival is based at Epcot and even though the park is always decorated with floral accents, this festival takes it to a new level! Most (if not all) the countries have a food stand set up with a spring food dish! On top of the unique food, there are tons of gardens and disney characters made of flowers!
Frozen Watermelon Cucumber Slush (non-alcoholic version), perfect balance of sweet with the cooling effects of the cucumber.
Super cute Goofy garden sculpture by the kids area!
Violet Frozen Lemonade, the only reason I ordered this is because of how cute it was but once I tried it, I ended up liking it.
The french pavilion always has amazing desserts and this one was no exception! Raspberry Macaroon with Chocolate fudge filling. This definitely made the top of my list because I love macaroons so much.
They added tea’s to their garden this year! There was a whole garden filled with oversized tea cups growing the herbs and spices needed for each tea.
Fruishy! By far my favorite thing this year from the festival, it is made of Fresh Pineapple, Strawberry and Melon Rolled with Raspberry Coconut Rice, sprinkled with a bit of Toasted Coconut and Whipped Cream on the side.
More colorful flower displays!
Minnie Mouse flower sculpture, all made of plants and flowers!
Another adorable sculpture made of plants and flowers!
The entire lake was surrounded by flower displays which was so colorful and made everything so much more vibrant.
The butterfly garden provides such an up close experience with all different types of butterflies! They had all different types of plants for all the different butterflies and there are little stations by each plant with fun facts and info.
